At the customer workshop of COSMO CONSULT operators of large industrial parks, plant constructors and contractors learned about smart technologies. These technologies can be used in technical projects such as turnarounds, investment projects, and maintenance projects. Together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF and the technology partners specialized in sensors, Bosch and telent, the think tank of the COSMO CONSULT Group provided information on the various facets of the "Digital Construction Site" initiative. Discussions focused on the potential of going digital, the use of IoT technologies as well as data protection and data security.

In the FOCUS survey, which was conducted jointly with the Data Analysis Institute Statista, 500 companies whose turnover has risen significantly above the average in the last three years were chosen from among 12,000 applicants from all sectors.
According to a study by the IT consulting company Cap Gemini, more than half of the companies surveyed plan to increase their budget for digital transformation in the coming years. Another third wants to maintain the level of IT investment at the current high level at the least. That is a clear message that shows unambiguously that business has high expectations of the digital transformation. But what exactly is driving companies into the arms of the IT industry regardless what field they are in or what size they are?

During the competition, Berlin COSMOnauts could submit their ideas on digital transformation, either as individuals or in a team. Torsten Heymann won the victory prize for "cc|knowledge manager". The system will make it easier to access expert knowledge within the COSMO CONSULT Group in the future.
The COSMO CONSULT Group, Europe's leading Microsoft Dynamics partner, and Sana Commerce, the e-commerce specialist, have agreed to work together more closely in the future. COSMO CONSULT will use Sana Commerce’s online shop products for Microsoft Dynamics in the future, especially for e-commerce scenarios in the B2B environment.
