COSMO CONSULT Group adds strength in the area of international business development

Since 1 October 2016, Peter Dibbern (see photo) has been business development manager responsible for the area of industry solutions for the COSMO CONSULT Group, a globally active concern that is one of the largest Microsoft ERP partners worldwide.

After studying economics in Siegen and Ulster, Northern Ireland, the Hamburg native with Swedish roots began his career in IT as an assistant to management at the Varial AG of Hamburg, a provider of finance and human resources software, where he developed marketing activities and was head of partner sales.

He then moved to the PSI AG of Berlin, where he was first responsible for marketing for the industry software PSIpenta and ERP, and later was in charge of the fields of product and lead management, presales and marketing communication as business development manager. While there, Dibbern concentrated mainly on the market requirements in the area of mechanical engineering, so that today, in addition to a comprehensive knowledge of the field, he has a correspondingly large network of connections. Very early on, he became involved with the trend to automation and data exchange in manufacturing and the digital transformation of industry, issues which are currently of great interest. His organisation played a leading role in strategic decision-making contexts and steered the company accordingly in terms of both research and development and communication. During his time as head of sales and marketing at the Hamburg start-up REPORTA Controllingsysteme AG, he also marketed business applications from the cloud early on.

After returning to the PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH, where Dibbern most recently spent several years as a member of management, he is now in charge of the COSMO CONSULT Group's international business development for the industry solutions market segment.
