The COSMO CONSULT Group, a global provider of end-to-end business solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics, and the FWI Group, Austria's leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner, are combining their expertise in industries and solutions. By integrating FWI with its company headquarters in Steyr, two other representative offices in Vienna and Vitis, as well as its German location in Neumarkt in Upper Palatinate, the COSMO CONSULT Group is strengthening its leading position in the field of European Microsoft Dynamics partners and consolidating its market leadership in Austria.

With approximately 150 employees in Austria, the FWI Group is the leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise solutions and is among the most well-respected experts in the German-speaking market for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (AX) and CRM solutions. The FWI Group has proven industry expertise in the fields of printing and packaging, disposal and recycling, machine and plant construction, the industrial and manufacturing sector, as well as in the wholesale and retail sectors. With this expertise, the group has been offering industry-leading ERP, CRM and business intelligence (BI) industry solutions to well-known customers for many years. It also provides comprehensive consulting on optimizing business processes and taking them digital.

By integrating the FWI Group, the COSMO CONSULT group, which has more than 950 employees at 40 locations worldwide, is resolutely pursuing its international growth strategy, which was most recently advanced through acquisitions in Austria, France, Spain and Latin America. The German-speaking market still plays a central role in this: With the four new COSMO CONSULT locations, customers of both companies will benefit profoundly from the expansion of product and service offerings as well as the international expertise and the economic stability of Europe’s leading Microsoft Dynamics provider.

When two market-leading technology companies join forces and pull together, it is not only their customers who benefit, but the market as a whole," says Leopold Födermayr, co-founder of the FWI Group. When he says this, the entrepreneur, who is also well-known outside the borders of Austria and an IT expert with many years of experience, is thinking above all about the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation: "Corporate solutions are about to change fundamentally, just like business processes and even entire business models have. In order to exploit the potential of this trend, strong IT partners are needed who not only have a vision for the future, but also the strength and endurance needed to shape that future."

"By uniting FWI and COSMO CONSULT, we are establishing a unique European pool of experts for integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 business solutions," said Uwe Bergmann, CEO of the COSMO CONSULT Group. "In fact, our customers are facing great challenges in the course of digital transformation, as are we. For us, working with our clients in a spirit of partnership and honesty on an equal footing, while being aware of the fact that human beings are at center of everything we do remains the decisive factor. Modern software technology can only make use of its strengths if it serves the people in the company."

In the coming months, the FWI locations will successively become operative offices of the COSMO CONSULT group of companies. Existing customers will be supported by their usual contact persons in the future and personally informed of all relevant changes.
