The adjustment primarily affects customers in Europe and is part of Microsoft’s global pricing model announced in May 2023.
Note: Local installations (on-premises services) are not affected by the price reduction.

Background of the Semi-annual Price Adjustments
Since May 2023, Microsoft has been adjusting prices for its cloud products on a semiannual basis to reflect international exchange rate movements against the US dollar. These assessments take place twice a year, on September 1 and February 1. The objective is to ensure a more consistent and stable global pricing structure. For February 2026, several currencies have now been identified as eligible for price reductions.
