Szeged

It is the third most populated settlement in Hungary with almost a population of 170,000. It is located close to the southern border of the country, at the confluence of the Tisza and Maros rivers, 162 km from Budapest. The present image of the city is defined by the constructions after the Great Flood in 1879, which occurred in the spirit of Art Nouveau, and as a result Szeged has become a city of palaces. As one of the cultural centers of Europe, life is always bustling in Szeged.

Like Debrecen, university life is vivid in Szeged - almost 20,000 university students live in the settlement - and this may play an important role in the life of COSMO in the near future, as many talented career starters can look forward to an outstanding career as future COSMOnauts.

Our office in Szeged, which opened in February 2022, is not only special in COSMO’s life because it is a new office, but the location is especially important for the future in terms of expansion in Hungary. With its central location, the new office provides greater support for both foreign and Hungarian clients.
