QINOUS: New Energies with Business Central

QINOUS offers storage devices for integrating solar and wind energy in the medium power range between 30 and 2,000 kilowatts. A software program developed by QINOUS controls the interplay of power generation from fossil fuels and renewable energies, as well as storage and consumption. When applied to microgrids (or localized groups of electric power grids (“off-grid,”) the software provides technically and commercially optimized energy utilization – for example, in hotels, schools, hospitals or even entire neighborhoods, anywhere in the world. In addition, QINOUS storage devices can also be used in combination with existing distribution grids (“on-grid.”)

QINOUS systems are geared to a growth market, so the company can expect revenue to go up significantly in the future. To meet their business requirements, QINOUS needed a new ERP and CRM system. They found what they were looking for in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – a well-structured and easily scalable solution that can be automated and digitized with in-house processes. QINOUS CEO Reinhard Edelmann was especially pleased with the possibilities offered by the new platform technologies. “We have sales partners around the world, so using a cloud-based solution is the best way to integrate them in our system.”

In addition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QINOUS also uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales and other components of the Microsoft Office 365-Plattform, including SharePoint and Teams.
