The COSMO CONSULT Group, specialist in digital transformation, is expanding its management consulting expertise: The business design division was launched at the beginning of April. It brings together all consulting services for employees and company organisation in digital transformation projects. The new business unit represents a holistic approach that considers people, organisation and digital technologies to be equally important.
Many companies, although small, have high standards for their IT. Therefore, IT investments are often very costly for them. With the COSMO Digital Consultant, the COSMO CONSULT Group is bringing a solution to market that allows you to implement ERP projects completely on your own. It is tailored to fit the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system and guides users through installation, setup and adding any system extensions step-by-step.
Microsoft's Dynamics 365 product family is on a course for the cloud. Microsoft partners who have been focusing on classic software rollouts will have to change gears. But that will take a lot of effort. Migration to the cloud is not cost-efficient for every solution. It is also necessary to develop new business models and establish new distribution channels. The COSMO CONSULT Group will also make the majority of its sector-specific and individual solutions available in the cloud and AppSource by the end of the year.
Following the end of the Privacy Shield agreement, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) is requiring companies to take on more responsibility. In the future, the companies themselves have to ensure that the processing of data in the USA is done in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The COSMO CONSULT-Group was prepared for this: In contracts with Microsoft it is ensured that customer data is stored and processed exclusively on servers in the EU.
For Tobias Fenster, Chief Technical Officer of the COSMO CONSULT Group, Christmas comes in July this year. Microsoft again named him Most Value Professional (MVP) for Business Applications and Azure, and shortly after that he was awarded the title of Regional Director (RD). While MVP titles focus primarily on technical expertise, RDs must also have strategic skills and broad knowledge of technologies combined with business leadership. Both titles are awarded for a limited period of time and are reviewed regularly.
Once a year, the world's largest software manufacturer announces which companies it has selected to be among its most important strategic partners. COSMO CONSULT, Europe's leading Microsoft Dynamics and digital transformation expert, has been chosen as a member of this “Inner Circle” for the eighth time in a row. Companies that want to belong to the illustrious group must of course have a thorough command of the entire Microsoft product range. But that alone is not enough.
