COSMO CONSULT’s recent strong growth has brought not only more branches and employees to the group, but also an ever broader product portfolio and many new technologies. The company, which specializes in digital transformation, is now also expanding its management team in order to continue to be able to deal with the constantly increasing number of tasks that its leadership has to tackle. Since the beginning of October, Daniel Schmid has been on the team as Chief Portfolio Officer (CPO) and Tobias Fenster as Chief Technical Officer (CTO). In addition to this, Peter Dibbern, previously responsible Marketing and Business Development in the group, was appointed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
With more than 1,200 employees at 42 locations in 14 countries worldwide, the COSMO CONSULT Group is one of the leaders in digital transformation in the field of small, medium-sized and large companies. In areas such as data science, the internet of things, cloud & IT services and modern workplace technologies, the software and consulting company has recently been able to strongly expand its own expertise and bring new products and services to the market. In order to pave the way for further growth, the software and consulting company is also adding three new positions to its management team.
Daniel Schmid will take on the role of Chief Portfolio Officer (CPO). In the future he will be responsible for the entire product portfolio and the end-to-end strategy of the COSMO CONSULT Group. "As CPO, Daniel will watch over the go-to-market strategy for new products as well as the entire lifecycle of existing solutions. He will also manage our strategic partnerships. In Daniel, we have someone on the team who has a deep understanding of our target markets and who will promote our customer orientation and our culture of creativity and innovation," says Gerrit Schiller, COO COSMO CONSULT Group. Daniel Schmid studied IT and communication management and then worked for various software companies in sales and as a project manager on complex business software projects. For the last three years he has been responsible for sales of all Microsoft Dynamics 365 products as Sales Director for the German speaking countries at the Microsoft partner AVANADE.
Tobias Fenster will take on the role of Chief Technical Officer (CTO). In the future, he will be pivotal in shaping the strategy of the COSMO CONSULT Group in terms of technology. "As CTO, Tobias will drive technological changes in our company and, in addition to agile work practices, promote the use of cutting-edge technologies throughout the Group, in particular in product development teams. He will keep our products and platforms resolutely focused on cloud technologies and build customer-oriented, efficient and creative product teams," explains Gerrit Schiller. After studying media information technology, Tobias Fenster worked in various management positions with a focus on technology at Axians Infoma - a software and consulting company specializing in public administration. Most recently, he held the position of technical director there. Microsoft has honored him as a "Most Valuable Professional" (MVP) for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Business Applications.
As part of the expansion, Peter Dibbern, previously responsible for Business Development and Marketing at COSMO CONSULT, will move up to the management level as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In his new position, he will be responsible for the Group's entire marketing and go-to-market strategy. He has been working at COSMO CONSULT for three years after previously having held leading positions in marketing, sales and business development at various ERP vendors.

All three managers report directly to the board, are well networked within the Microsoft community and have been working in their new positions at COSMO CONSULT since the beginning of October.
