Informática Textil, the company that developed the Penélope CAD software, has more than 30 years of history and has clearly been setting standards for the textile industry. Based in Barcelona and represented in several countries, the company aims to gain the trust of its customers with the best graphic software in the world for the textile industry.
Penelope CAD provides all the necessary tools for the creation, design, production and simulation of all types of woven material. The software includes several tools that make daily tasks easier, allowing designers to concentrate on their creations, strengthening their creativity, increasing their efficiency and reducing the time needed to introduce colors, threads, ligaments and technical data.
The hyper-realistic simulation of threads not only allows for faster decision making when a new collection is created - it also reduces the notoriously high sample production costs. This saves companies a lot of time and money.
Penelope CAD contains and manages all the technical information needed for the elaboration of designs, from estimating future needs and completing a data sheet to obtaining the communication files for the productive machines.
The challenge

Selecting the right service provider
Since Penélope was developed in Windows, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales was considered to be the best choice. Once the tool had been selected, the most difficult part began: selecting a provider that would help to adapt it. After evaluating 3 or 4 companies, it was decided to assign the project to COSMO CONSULT.
